About this item

The MZ CS72 is a small cordless chainsaw you can hold and run with one hand. The bar is 6 inches, so it reaches into spots a full-size saw can't, like thin branches, coconut fronds, and firewood around the house.

It runs on an 18.5V 1200mAh lithium battery, so there is no wire dragging behind you while you work. Charge it, carry it to the tree, and start cutting. The copper motor has enough bite for dry branches and small logs.

Starting it takes two steps on purpose. You press the safety button first, then the trigger, so it won't fire if the trigger gets bumped in your bag. A guard adjusts on its own and keeps most of the wood chips off your face, and the head rotates, which helps when you're cutting at an awkward angle above you.

The chain is hardened steel and cuts clean without shaking your hand much. We include a spare chain and a spare guide bar in the box, so you're not stuck when one wears down.
